WHX Dubai 2026 recap – Bristol VMD closes a strong week with a major EN 1789 milestone

Posted on 16 Feb at 12:34 pm
Event: World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2026, formerly Arab Health
Date: 9-12 February 2026
Venue: Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai
Stand: P.H20

A successful week of practical healthcare conversations

Our participation at WHX Dubai 2026 was defined by strong engagement with EMS leaders, fleet decision-makers, and technical teams, with discussions focused on real operational needs such as layout planning, patient handling workflow, and build integration. WHX continues to be a key meeting point for the healthcare community in the region and beyond, bringing together decision-makers and solution providers under one roof.

What we showcased on Stand P.H20

Bristol VMD – EN 1789 ambulance build on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

Visitors explored our EN 1789 certified ambulance built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, with detailed discussions around interior layout, equipment integration, and daily usability for frontline crews.

MEDIROL – Vivera Monobloc powered stretcher (with MEDIROL team)

Alongside our vehicle display, MEDIROL presented the Vivera Monobloc powered stretcher, with their team on-site for hands-on technical discussions and workflow fit for patient transport and loading operations.

Ambulanz Mobile – TWINLINE ambulance (with Ambulanz Mobile team)

We also welcomed Ambulanz Mobile on the stand with the TWINLINE ambulance, with their team available to discuss the concept, configuration approach, and operational use cases, particularly for urban deployment.

Major achievement – first EN 1789 TWINLINE handover in the UAE

A key highlight of our WHX Dubai participation was the handover of the first EN 1789 Ambulanz Mobile TWINLINE ambulance to Mr. Mishal Julfar, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services. This milestone reflects the trust placed in internationally aligned specifications and practical EMS-focused design for daily operations.

Beyond the stand – broader capabilities we discussed

While WHX featured selected products, our discussions went beyond what was physically displayed. Across the week, we engaged on wider requirements and options such as:
  • Alternative ambulance layouts and mission profiles (EMS, patient transport, specialist configurations)
  • Equipment and patient handling integration planning
  • Build approach considerations including lifecycle serviceability and operational uptime
  • Partner portfolio options across patient handling and ambulance platforms

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who visited us at WHX Dubai 2026 and took the time to meet our teams and partners. We appreciate the quality of conversations and the clarity of feedback shared throughout the event, and we look forward to translating these discussions into next steps after WHX.
