Bristol Vehicles Manufacturing Division (VMD), part of Concorde – Corodex Group, was honoured by Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) at its Annual Partners Awarding Ceremony on 9 September 2026. Held at Al Ras Hall, InterContinental Dubai Festival City, the ceremony recognised Bristol’s continued cooperation and contribution to DCAS initiatives and services.
Mr. Mahmoud Awad, Managing Director, and Mr. Firas Awad, Chief Operating Officer, represented Bristol at the event, which featured DCAS’s “20 Years, Every Second is Life” theme.

Working with DCAS on ambulance solutions
Our collaboration with DCAS focuses on ambulances and specialised vehicles that meet operational requirements and support emergency response teams. This recognition acknowledges the work behind that cooperation and the contribution of the teams involved.
Earlier in 2026, Bristol VMD’s participation at WHX Dubai included the handover of an Ambulanz Mobile TWINLINE ambulance to Mr. Mishal Julfar, CEO of DCAS. The handover is one example of the ongoing relationship between Bristol and the Corporation.
Vehicle solutions shaped by operational needs
At WHX Dubai 2026, our discussions with healthcare and fleet professionals covered interior layouts, equipment integration and patient handling. These conversations focused on how ambulance design supports the daily work of frontline crews, with attention to practical usability and different operational requirements.
Bristol VMD offers customised ambulance solutions, including Type II and Type I/III configurations. Our wider engineering and vehicle body manufacturing capabilities also cover firefighting, rescue, command and other specialised emergency vehicles.
